The Bénédictine liqueur is a unique French elixir, created in 1863 by Alexandre Le Grand, a wine merchant from Fécamp. Inspired by ancient recipes of Benedictine monks, it is crafted from a blend of 27 carefully selected herbs and spices, then aged in dedicated cellars. Rich and complex, Bénédictine enchants with notes of honey, spices, and citrus.

The B&B version, launched in the 1930s, is a variant that combines Bénédictine with Cognac. This version, drier and more intense than the classic Bénédictine, is particularly prized for its balance between smoothness and strength. B&B bottles from the 1970s are sought after by collectors for their vintage character and quality craftsmanship, perfectly blending herbal aromas with the woody notes of Cognac.
