Definitions

All references to "you &/or your" means you and "we, us or our" means SPEX or our trademark Vintage-liquors. "The website" means vintage-liquors.com

1. Copyright

No photography, imagery, text, source code or any other material shown on the website www.vintage-liquors.com may be used in any circumstances for commercial purposes, nor may any of our material herein be altered, cropped, transformed, built upon, or in any other way changed or reproduced, whether from our own websites or copied from third party websites in breach of this condition themselves or otherwise redistributed without our prior written permission.

2. Disclaimer

Vintage-liquors  is not responsible for the views expressed by customers or independent tasters in the tasting notes or product reviews sections of the website. We are not responsible for any disruption, offence or damage caused by following any links from www.vintage-liquors.com to any third-party websites.

3. Payment Methods

Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card or Paypal. Payments made by bank transfer hav to be received within 3 days after the date of the order. If payment is not received after 3 days, the order is canceled.

All goods need to be paid before shipment, unless otherwise agreed. Goods which are shipped prior to payment are subject of payment within 5 days after date of shipment. If goods are not fully paid after 5 days customer will receive a collection letter with a final request to settle payment within 14 days from the date on which the collection letter has been send. If payment is not forthcomming after the collection letter we will instruct a bailiff to collect payment on our behalf by when the additional costs will be a minimum of 15% of the capital sum with a minimum of 50 Euro ex-VAT.

4. Cancellation and Returns Policies

It is our policy to ensure that all products supplied to all our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order without charge. If you are unhappy with products purchased which are not faulty, we will happily refund your money, excluding the shipping cost, or exchange the products provided you inform us within14 days after the day following the delivery of the goods. If you ordered from overseas, the import taxes applied by french customs will be deducted from your refund. Any returned products must be returned to us in good condition, with all packaging intact. All refunds and reimbursements will be paid within 30 days of your notifying us about returning the products. Any product returned must be within its original packaging and adequately packed to avoid any possible damage. The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer. Please note that not all of the items for sale at the www.vintage-liquors.com are new and in some cases will have been purchased at auction. Product images on the website are intended for illustrative purposes only and may not be exact representations of the item in stock, particularly for antique and/or discontinued products, which may not be in perfect condition. Please also be aware that batch numbers, vintages and bottling dates may be subject to change. If this happens we will do our best to inform you before the item is shipped.

5. Minimum legal age

We may only sell alcohol products to those over the age of 18. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and the minimum legal age for purchasing alcohol products in your country of residence.

6. Taxes and Duties

All Products are sold inclusive VAT but not all products are available ex-VAT.

7. Delivery

After confirmation of the order once payment has been received, the order is dispatched within 48 hours. For international orders, delivery times vary depending on location. Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of the product(s) and destination address. Vintage-liquors cannot make guarantees concerning delivery times and is not responsible for delayed orders.

Once the package has left our warehouse by handing over to the transportation company, the goods are out of our responsibility and considered to be delivered to the costumer, irrespective which circumstances are leading to losses, missing, damage or confiscation of the goods, whatever the reason. Each delivery of our products is subject to local tax and duties upon arrival in the designated country, which are levied once the package reaches customs clearance. It is therefore your full responsibility to verify any import regulations upon arrival your designated country.

Any additional charges for customs or other kind of clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact the recipient’s local customs office in your country of landing for further information.

Please note that standard deliveries are made during business hours on Monday to Friday; to ensure prompt delivery someone must be present to sign for the parcel. For this reason we cannot under any circumstances accept Post Box Numbers as a delivery address for any order. Orders with Post Box Numbers as delivery addresses will not be dispatched and processing will be delayed while we contact you for a valid delivery address. After processing, (which may be subject to delay if we are out of stock of any items ordered, in which case we will notify you), all orders are dispatched using a 24 hour service to most mainland destinations in France, 3-5 working days service to most European addresses and 7-10 working days for international orders, delivery times vary depending on location. Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of the product and the destination address.

  • Punctuality of Service

Please note that we are unable to guarantee the punctuality of service provided by our delivery agents, particularly during spells of difficult weather conditions. If your shipment is delivered unacceptably late after having been collected from us on time by our agent we will try to secure a refund where appropriate.

  • Additional Shipping Charges

1. Orders to Taiwan are subject to a limit of 5 litres and require export certification.

2. All orders are insured by us at no extra charge up to a value of 500€; additional insurance up to a maximum of 15000€ per order is available at extra cost.

3. By accepting our terms and conditions, you agree to these additional shipping charges where applicable to your order.

Customs and Import Duties

Alcohol products sold at Vintage-liquors.com are subject to taxation. If we are sending products to an address within the European Union (EU), prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT).

If we are shipping to an address outside the EU, we will not charge VAT. However your order will be subject to local taxes and duties upon arrival in the recipient's country, which are levied once the package reaches customs clearance.

Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact the recipient's local customs office for further information.

Refusal to pay the local import duties and taxes will result in the goods either being:

  • destroyed by customs; or

  • goods being returned to sender at the cost of the consignee (costs will be deducted from any refund owed).

Vintage-liquors is never responsibe for additional duties which might be charged in countries outside the EU; Vintage-liquors is not responsible for parcel stopped and/or seized by local Customs.

 

8. Availability & Pricing

We have endeavoured to ensure the accuracy of the information on the site. Should a product be unavailable, we will endeavour to inform you of this promptly. Prices and specifications can change without notice and products are subject to availability.

 

9. Continuity of access/service

Our objective is to offer our customers the best possible service, but we are unable to accept responsibility for interrupted access to www.vintage-liquors.com due to technical problems outside of our control. Due to the nature of the Internet, access may be suspended, restricted or interrupted at any time, and we are therefore unable to guarantee entirely error-free access and services.

10. Data Protection

The data we collect from you is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order or sending you the newsletter. We will never disclose your personal information to any other parties without your consent except to verify your identification as above. You have every right to know what information has been held in our system.
