The Bertrand family has been tilling their lands as winegrowers since 1731. They own about 75 hectares in the Petite Champagne area, which they have almost completely planted with the Ugni Blanc variety (with just a little bit of Colombard on the side). For many years, they have produced their cognacs under the “Domaine des Brissons de Laage” label, but for some years now, they have been using their own family name: Bertrand. So, do not confuse them with the other Bertrand in Chevanceaux (Bertrand Vignobles), who produces Fins Bois and Bons Bois cognacs.

Bertrand cognacs are known for their very dark color, obtained by very long aging.

This bottle of VSOP cognac from the 1980s comes from this prestigious estate. It perfectly embodies the expertise and tradition of the Bertrand family, offering a unique tasting experience with rich aromas and unparalleled complexity.
