Danflou Calvados, a true benchmark for calvados lovers in search of a unique taste experience. Immerse yourself in the world of this family-run business and let yourself be seduced by the exceptional quality of this emblematic spirit.
For several generations, the Danflou family has been perpetuating artisanal know-how handed down from father to son. Each bottle of Danflou Calvados embodies the authenticity and excellence of Norman traditions.
Danflou Calvados is made by distilling cider from apples specially selected from the region's orchards. The apple varieties used, such as Binet Rouge, Petit Jaune and Fréquin Rouge, give the calvados subtle aromas and a remarkable complexity of taste.
The calvados is then carefully aged in oak barrels in the traditional Danflou cellars. The slow maturing process allows the aromas to develop harmoniously, offering notes of ripe apples, vanilla, nuts and caramel.
With its beautiful amber color, Danflou Calvados is also visually appealing. On the palate, it reveals a silky texture and a balanced palette of flavors, blending the fruity sweetness of apples with spicy and woody notes, offering a taste experience of great elegance.
Each tasting of Danflou Calvados is a sensory journey through the lands of Normandy, where passion and respect for tradition are beautifully expressed.
