Martell Cognacs and the SICA UVPC (grouping and cooperative of winegrowers working with Martell) are celebrating half a century of collaboration, commitment and passion around Cognac.
To celebrate this 50th anniversary, the Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud has selected a remarkable 1971 vintage Cognac in the Chanteloup cellars.
This Martell Cognac Vintage 1971 amber with mahogany reflections presents a very beautiful harmony.
The first expressive nose reveals notes of beeswax and dried fruits such as grapes. Then, the notes of fresh red to black fruits are expressed.
Finally, the tasting reveals a wide aromatic palette of dried fruits, such as cashew nuts or almonds, all delicately accompanied by redcurrant or black currant.
In the end, power, elegance and great complexity characterize this Cognac in the mouth.
This box is all the more rare as it has never been offered for sale as Martell has never had any vintages in its Cognac ranges.
