Marc d’Alsace de Gewurztraminer
Cellier de la Weiss – Kaysersberg, Alsace
Crafted in the heart of Alsace’s vineyards, this exceptional marc is distilled by Cellier de la Weiss using traditional methods that highlight the rich aromatic profile of the Gewurztraminer grape. Made from carefully selected grape pomace following pressing, it is slowly distilled in a copper pot still, in keeping with time-honored regional techniques.
This Marc d’Alsace stands out for its intensity and refined character. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of floral and spicy notes—rose petals, lychee, and nutmeg, all characteristic of the Gewurztraminer varietal. On the palate, it is bold and dry, with a warm, lingering finish that offers hints of candied fruit and gentle spice.
A true expression of Alsatian terroir, this spirit is aged with care to allow its flavors to mellow and harmonize. Traditionally enjoyed as a digestif at room temperature, it can also elevate fine desserts or be used to flambé certain dishes.
An authentic tribute to Alsace’s winemaking heritage, crafted with passion in the picturesque village of Kaysersberg—one of France’s most beautiful destinations.
