The House of Gourry de Chadeville, founded in 1619, is one of the oldest cognac estates. Located in the heart of Grande Champagne, the premier cru of the appellation, it produces high-quality cognacs appreciated by connoisseurs worldwide.
The "Très Vieux" from Gourry de Chadeville is an approximately 25-year-old cognac made exclusively from Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. It features a golden-yellow hue and offers delicate aromas of oak and vanilla, followed by floral notes of violet and rose. On the palate, it presents a solid structure with a long finish.
The label on the back of the bottle attests to an authentic archive from 1735, documenting the shipment of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie by Pierre Gourry to Rotterdam. This historical detail highlights the long-standing tradition and craftsmanship passed down through generations within the Gourry family.
