The Vieille Reserve No. 6 by AE Dor was inspired by a personal moment in the life of founder Amédée-Edouard Dor. After an unexpected win at the racetrack, thanks to a horse wearing number 6, he chose to name this special cuvée in its honor—a symbolic starting point for his line of old reserves.
Crafted exclusively from Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie and aged for over 25 years, this Hors d’Âge Cognac reflects the elegance of its terroir. It opens with floral and fresh fruit notes—rhubarb and elderflower—balanced by warm spices, dark caramel, and subtle oak.
Founded in 1858, AE Dor has earned the title “The Cognac Antiquarian” for its extraordinary collection of vintage Cognacs, many resting in its famed “Paradis” cellar. The No. 6 cuvée embodies the house’s dedication to craftsmanship, age, and character.
