Paul Giraud Très Rare – Grande Champagne Cognac
Deep in the heart of Grande Champagne, the Paul Giraud estate continues to shape some of the most refined Cognacs of the region. The Très Rare is a shining example of this tradition—an artisanal Cognac aged for 40 years, making it the second oldest expression in the Giraud family range.
Classified Hors d’Âge, this Cognac is drawn from the finest eaux-de-vie of Grande Champagne, patiently matured in Limousin oak casks for up to four decades. The result is a rich and layered spirit, marked by complexity, depth, and an unmistakable elegance that only time and terroir can create.
Unlike many houses, Paul Giraud avoids blending multiple vintages. Instead, each expression is a faithful reflection of nature’s rhythm and the patience of those who steward it. Harvested by hand from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in limestone-rich soils—overlooked by the Château de Montmorency-Bouteville—the journey of the Très Rare spans generations.
The Giraud family listens to their Cognac as it matures in the quiet of their cellars, bottling only when the moment is right. That dedication results in a hedonistic, sensory Cognac, rich in character and perfect for those who seek a profound tasting experience.
An authentic jewel from the Premier Cru, Paul Giraud Très Rare is a timeless celebration of heritage, terroir, and craftsmanship.
