RÉMY MARTIN – CELLAR MASTER’S EDITION
CARTE BLANCHE À BAPTISTE LOISEAU
MAÎTRE DE CHAI
Rémy Martin gives its Cellar Master the freedom to reveal one of his most special creations.
The result is Carte Blanche.
During the year, Baptiste Loiseau tastes hundreds of eaux-de-vie, all ageing in the House’s ancient cellars. On rare occasions, he is particularly inspired by one of them — a single vat that he wishes to share with the world.
Carte Blanche is his personal selection of one of these hidden treasures. The only rule: he must choose an eau-de-vie aged at least 20 years. For this latest edition of Carte Blanche, Baptiste Loiseau has chosen a single vat from our Merpins Cellar, a very old and peaceful cellar that offers perfect ageing conditions.
The chosen eau-de-vie is characterized by exceptional balance and harmony: round and smooth, with a delicate expression of candied orange, exotic fruits and a touch of gingerbread.
Bottled at the percentage and quantity set by the Cellar Master, this rare cognac is presented in its natural state, without blending, cold filtration or alteration.
The crystal bottle is inspired by a flask found in our cellars.
Carte Blanche is an exceptionally powerful cognac. To be enjoyed pure and preferably in a large glass, to release all of its aromatic intensity.
